LCW (Lounge Chair Wood) moulded plywood lounge chair by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller. Reported by Time Magazine as being the best design of the 20th Century, the LCW was the result of an experiment in the Eames’ apartment with a machine they called the Kazam! that later allowed them to mass produce a number of their designs. The Eames LCW is a key piece to the puzzle of 20th century design and a must have for collections paying homage to this era and/or furniture design in general.
