An 11 piece, 10 seater, bespoke dining setting by the iconic and highly awarded Joe Rufenacht of JR Furniture. This truely rare and important piece of Australian design, being the only one in existence, was produced for a family friend of Joes who also resided in the Barossa Valley, South Australia. In form, it takes a very different design style to his commonly seen bent timber furniture of the 1970’s, this setting being Brutalist in nature and from the mid 70’s. The set consists of 8 side chairs with full aniline, studded saddle leather to all seats and back rests over solid timber frames. On each end are matching carvers, also with leather inserts. The matching dining table is of the same timber and solid in construction. The full set is located in the SODA Objects showroom and is available for viewing. Delivery quote via cart.
Condition: All pieces present well with signs of age. Some marking randomly on leather and to high traffic points on frames. Frame joints on some chairs require re-fixing, included in price.
Note: Price is for the full setting, with minor restoration to be completed. Please enquire for full restoration pricing and options.
