A monumental glass chandelier by Aldo Nason for Mazzega, produced in Murano, Italy circa 1970’s. The ceiling light consists of four sides with central chrome stem, each supporting a 2 piece chain link facet with interior side being lit by two globes. The glass tube is made using the “pelugoso” technique that introduces tiny bubbles into the glass allowing for texture and diffusion, effectively carrying the light around the tube. The light is hung using six open chrome links with a staggering 100cm total drop and 64cm width.
Condition: Very good all round. Wired with earth for Australia. Original ceiling rose not included however, we would be happy to assist with supply of an after market option.
