Single ‘Cord’ chair by Clement Meadmore, first designed 1953. A chair of great importance to Australian mid century design but with a somewhat ugly history of license issues and ongoing unsolicited manufacture. Clearly of early vintage condition however hard to say from what production.
Condition/Authenticity: This particular chairs proportions and build looks to match that of the original productions. The cords diameter measures slightly larger so it’s likely that it was replaced at some stage however, has been wrapped well and supports weight. Ball ends and feet missing. Priced accordingly.
